Top 10 Ways to Celebrate Rosh Hashanah in Israel

The Beit Hatfutsot museum in Tel Aviv recently had an illuminating exhibition on the Jews of Iran.

The Beit Hatfutsot Museum of the Jewish People is located on the pretty campus of Tel Aviv University in Ramat Aviv. A short taxi ride from central Tel Aviv but definitely worth the trip for the detailed exhibits which emphasize the continuity of Jewish culture throughout history.

There's a lot of history to process, so luckily there's an Aroma Cafe located on the premises. Have a cookie, sandwich, or ice coffee with a scoop of chocolate ice cream, and you will understand the Jewish concept of nosh.

The museum is open Sun.-Thurs. from 10am-7pm and Friday 9am-2pm. Admission is 40 New Israeli Shekels (approx. $11).
